Medicinal Miracles is a 3D school project created in Unreal Engine 4.27. The project aimed to implement design principles and create a HUB level. The idea was to design a space that felt like a gathering place and a safe space between adventures. I used Unreal's start content, a couple of props from the FANTASTIC - Village Pack, and several of my own props and materials.

Overview: The player is a young tradeswoman. They live in a village just outside a castle and it serves as a junction point for several other roads. The level begins with the player learning they need a specific herb to help the player's father recover from an illness. The player then searches for the Alchemist, the only NPC in the village that has the herbs. The Alchemist will send the player to complete several tasks/chores before giving them the herbs. The player will return home with the herbs to complete the level.
Script: I scripted everything in the level, in addition to making the block mesh, props, and basic color materials. The majority of the script relates to the UI and dialogue between the player and NPCs. I created the UIs for the Alchemist, Customers, Merchants, Doctor, and Kids and scripted the interactions with them. I also scripted the follow interaction for the dog.

Preproduction: The preproduction documents include a paper map, a digitized map, an asset list, a timeline and walkthrough, and a reference board.
